Vacation 2009 (Part 3)

Everybody know Genting Highland, but do you know Colmar Tropicale? It is a French-themed village and hotel., which is located in Bukit Tinggi. We had a short trip in here for taking photos of the beautiful scenery. The building looks like castles from a storybook, a fairy tale. Fantastic building and castle which make me felt I am at new place outside of my country.

The entrance of Colmar Tropicale.

The surrounding was very nice though.

Chyn with the armour and defending gear had displayed at the hotel lobby :P

A higher tip Bukit Tinggi at about 3,500 feet above sea level, we arriving at another place, the Japanese Tea Garden.

The enviroment is very fresh and green with beautiful scenery. It is a pleasure to take a leisurely stroll in the serene landscaped Japanese Garden

Kimono can be rented in here, no! It should be Yukata. I think the renter don't know they are renting Yukata instead of Kimono.

Click here for difference between Kimono and Yukata ▼

I simply love Kimono, I wish someday I could wear on it. As for me, I think Kimono is so gorgeous, elegant and glamorous. But anyway, I rented Yukata for taking photos :) As you seen, the photo of my banner was taken in here.

We left there in the afternoon. On the way to Genting Highland, we dropped by this temple - Chin Swee Temple. It's located approximately 3.7km away from the Theme Park Hotel.

Finally we're here. Our destination - Genting Highland. Firstly, we had lunch in MacDonald since we didn't take breakfast early in the morning, we had fruits only. Yay, I've ordered Happy Meal and a spiderman toy was given, lol :B

Outdoor theme park, here we go. I bet we're crazy yet happy although it takes long time to queue.
Spinner, Pirate ship, Rolling Thunder Mine Train, Sungei Rejang Flume Ride and Cyclone.

Supposed to play my favourite ride - Flying Dragon. It was almost our turn but it was temporary closed due to the mist, mad angry :(

We looks funny in here. Chyn was the photographer.. hahaha

We are wet as a drowned rat :)

We had a big yellow bear with only RM2, we're so lucky man.

Bye ♥

The rest of the day wasn't post in here. I pick some of them only. Part 1 and Part 2 refer to here and here.

Vacation 2009 (Part 2)

Do as usual, shopping, eating and playing all the days!

We had breakfast in home.

Happy hour in Neway Karaoke!

We had awesome dinner in home during Dong Zhi.

Didn't you notice? We got two different color of glutinous rice balls. Obviously yes.

For the green one, we bought it in the morning market, but while we trying to roll it into a ball, it don't really stick and boiling it takes long time to be cooked. When we ate, no! It doesn't fresh at all....

Therefore, we decided to make a new one, the one in red color. You don't know what's the time when we made, it was almost 12AM. Luckily we ate before the Dong Zhi is over, hahahahaha!

Sweet sweet :)

It's Christmas Eve. We got pretty and lovely nails before the night :)

We had dinner in Tony Roma's - The Garden, food doesn't delicious like what I expected, but overall still not bad. I think it is quite happy because we got a couple of discount coupon and discount while we have our meal in any outlets of their company by showing the business card with sticker of Tony Roma's which given by the manager......

Brother, me and sister.

I am not going to go through the story why we got a lot of discount coupon because I think that doesn't matter to you. Let's go to the food section :)

Here's my opinion for the restaurant. I don't really interested to the menu, we got two drinks for four person dinner, don't you think weird? If you think we're not siblings, couple or whatever, would you like to share your drinks with others? Other than that, I think the choices were too little, not-so-attractive. But, as I said, the food wasn't bad.. It's a good restaurant which served ribs and steaks.

We got our starter first.

Tony's Samples

Red Hot Buffalo Wings, Potato Skin and their signature Onion Loaf matched with Bleu cheese dressing, Ranch dressing and BBQ dipping sauce.

Soup of the Day

Bread & Herb Butter

Then, our main course.

Brother's Mojo Chicken

Sister's Grilled salmon

Sister bf's Ribeye Steak

 and mine!

Shrimp Scampi Pasta

Lastly, dessert.

Christmas Pudding.

The Garden

 -

The nicest place I've ever seen in the whole of Malaysia all my life. The roads are well paved, the streets are totally clean, the lamp posts are all working and everything is beautiful here, especially the buildings.. Just like foreign country.

Yes, it's PutraJaya, we headed to there after our dinner since there's no function in the mall.

Taken in the one of the building.

HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS
My present for sister's bf, hahahaha! It will change the light in every 30 seconds.
I bought him a Stitch laundry basket, which is very cute one :P
Brother bought sister a watch and my sister bought him a stainless steel ring.

The next post will be the last part! Part 1 refer to here :)

Panda.

I am obviously not a panda lover, but I found them are very cute actually. I meet panda 8 years ago in Beijing Zoo, but I am not interested with them since there's nothing special for me when I was only a 8 year old girl.

Five-month-old giant panda cub, Yun Zi.
